Egret flying on Jiang'an river
□ Du Zonglin
I like the egret very much. There is no big river in my hometown. I only saw it in the lush paddy fields in summer. The lush greenery was a little white, and it was enchanting. Later, in Egret Prefecture, Xiamen, the birds covered the sky and made me dazzle. But the white egret on the Jiang'an River is another scene.
I often do morning exercises by the Jiang'an River. The wind blows across the banks, and the flowers and birds of the four seasons are fragrant and pleasing to the eye. You see, the uncle who played Taijiquan along the river, the sword-dancing girl, the long-distance running guy, and the turtledove flying out of the bushes, chased and jumped up and down, throbbed thrushes, and combed the feathers. The kingfisher in the heart of the river constitutes a vivid view of the earth.
In addition to the flood season, the Jiang'an River, which is more than 40 meters wide, jumps quickly, sparkling, winding like a jade belt around the western Sichuan plain. There are many egrets living on both sides of the river. These white egrets have white feathers, long black pecks and beautiful legs. They often forage near the river or in shallow water. Once the target was found, they struck lightning. Fingers with thick fingers or loach were their favorite, and they were leaping on their mouths. At this time, nearby companions often came to fight for food, chased the water in the water, and uttered "ahhh", making the water splash. After some snatches and dodges, the victor dangled his neck and trembled to taste the delicious food. He lowered his head and took a slender beak to move left and right in clear water. After eating, he hid his head under a long white cricket. Standing in the water, Ren Hefeng wrinkles, and his ears are not heard, and his posture is extremely elegant.
The river channel was reconstructed this winter, and the river was temporarily closed. The water flow in the Wenjiangcheng section of the Jiang'an River was reduced, and part of the riverbed was exposed, showing a different style of gully. Standing on the embankment and looking down, the river is clear, and green grass and waterweeds dance on the pebbles with green moss, as if overlooking the vast and vast African savannah from a helicopter.
It is on this shoal that thirty to forty egrets are active every day. Those white elves, like snowballs, brought vitality to the riverbed. They rose and fell, attracting friends. If you are disturbed, you will fly into the air, spread your wings about 60 cm long, shrink your head and legs, and stretch back. You will slowly fly over the mirror-like water reflecting the tall buildings. At this time, you will be surprised to see The lines of heron in the water are beautiful, light, and agile. The perfect fusion of water, sky, heron and floor makes people fascinated and forgetful.
Some of the rising egrets crossed the bridge such as the weaving bridge and disappeared into the blue sky; some stood at the tall treetops on the shore, shaking with the branches, just like Du Mu chanted: "The astonishment flies far away from Bishan , A pear tree fell in the evening wind. "There was a few weeks of hovering, the wings flew flat and fell back to the river bank. They also have a very graceful landing posture. They started with their wings down, and then changed to vibrate forward when they were near the water. This whole set of moves is like an athlete who is extremely stretched out.
Through observation, I found that there is a kind of egret that is different. It has a white wire with a length of ten centimeters behind its head. No wonder Bai Juyi writes poems like "Egret":
I haven't faded in my forty years, and I am downcast with gray hair.
Why are double egrets at the water's edge?
