A Probe into the Teaching Methods of Junior Middle School Mathematics

When I first took the post of junior high school mathematics teaching, I was unfamiliar and strenuous, and felt great pressure, but I never lost my confidence. In the continuous study and exchange, after repeated explorations and reflections, I have explored the following aspects of junior high school mathematics teaching, and now I will share it with everyone. I want to criticize and correct the shortcomings.

First, prepare students.

The knowledge of mathematics is relatively boring. In the teaching of each knowledge point, we must take into consideration the actual situation of the students and consider how to cultivate the students' potential thinking ability. As most of the children we face are rural children, each student's level of knowledge is uneven. Therefore, in the preparation of lessons, we must adopt hierarchical design teaching according to the actual level of students' knowledge. We must not only satisfy the good students, but also allow the less advanced students to learn. Make sure that the requirements for students are moderate, otherwise they will dispel their interest in learning mathematics in the beginning.

2. Prepare teaching materials.

We must study the textbook carefully, and even consider and taste it word by word. Make it clear, clear and unambiguous. Only through reading can you think deeply and discover the problems. Roughly read the textbook three times: the first pass is rough reading and speed reading, the whole is to perceive, to get an overview of it; the second pass is to read intensive reading, in-depth analysis to obtain specific information; Get the truth in it.

3. Exam preparation questions.

We like to collect test questions for this section, chapter, and semester online, and analyze the question types after collection to focus on intensive training in teaching and review teaching. For example, we often collect exam questions on websites such as 12999 Junior High School Mathematics Teaching Network, Jingyou Network, Subject Network, and municipal education resources. City and county teachers' learning and resource centers lead the organization of examination questions and guidance, which we must also refer to. In addition, we also often analyze and compare the city's teaching quality monitoring questions in the past few years, better grasp the changes in examination questions and the direction of examinations, and timely guide ourselves to analyze and grasp the teaching materials in education and teaching.

Fourth, do student preview.

Preview is a link that cannot be ignored. There is only one lesson per day in junior high school mathematics. Because the time for class is too limited, it becomes a very important link. Students should indicate their own gains and ununderstandings in the book after the preview, so that they can have a clear direction and higher efficiency to learn new knowledge in class.

Fifth, intensive exercises after class.

We must arrange appropriate exercises after class to enable students to digest and consolidate the knowledge learned in this lesson through practice. To choose the type of questions, not too many, most students can not complete the problem, it will become tired of learning, and then evolve into plagiarism. This will not achieve the purpose of the exercise. When reviewing, for those students who often make mistakes, plagiarized students must make corrections in person. This can correct their education in a timely manner.

In addition, in each test question, calculation is the basic skill of students, and it is very important to improve students' calculation ability. Therefore, I divided the entire class into several groups, with the group as the unit. The leader of the group was responsible for the daily calculation of some of the more important calculation questions in the teaching content. Teachers conduct spot checks in a timely manner, which can improve the accuracy of students' calculations.

What I have discussed above is my experience in teaching practice in recent years, which is very incomplete. I still need to continue to learn and understand the new curriculum standards and the essential content of the new textbooks in the future practice. The requirements of the new curriculum standards promote the improvement of students' mathematical literacy.
